It the meantime we have created a private group as part of our Facebook page that you can find by clicking HERE to keep everybody connected. Please send a request to join, as we will update members with our plans as they change. In the meantime please stay safe and look after each other. and don't forget #stayinsavelives
At Our Barn, we are a registered charity (number 1181421) that runs community-based activities providing learning, life skills and social interaction for young people aged between 16 to 35 with learning disabilities or autism.
*Our rather unusual name was chosen by the young people and comes from the log cabin we use in Redlees Play Centre. We have extended the opportunities we offer, but Our Barn Youth Club remains one of our flagship projects. Details of what we offer can be found on our What we do page.
We enjoy sharing what we do on social media too - see the appropriate icons.
We are delighted to be one of the Mayor of Hounslow, Councillor Tony Louki's charities for his 2019/20 mayoral year, alongside Hounslow Seniors Trust.
He aims to raise funds for our cycling project, Buddy Bicycles, which brings adapted cycling to the safe and picturesque Osterley Park and offers work experience opportunities to young people with learning disabilities or autism. The tricycles seat two people side-by-side, are specially imported and cost around £5,000 each!
Please go to the Mayor's Just Giving page if you would like to make a contribution.
We are running a number of fund-raising events this year which aim to raise awareness of learning disabilities and autism across the borough of Hounslow and beyond.
