Hello and welcome to our website

At Our Barn we run community-based activities providing learning, life skills and social interaction for young people aged between 16 to 35 with learning disabilities or autism.

Our rather unusual name was chosen by the young people and comes from the log cabin we use in Redlees Play Centre. We have extended the opportunities we offer, but Our Barn Youth Club remains our flagship project.

Brief details of some of what we do can be found below, with more information on our Current Programme page. We also update a 'live' Google calendar with times and venues - see the button on the right (external link).

We enjoy sharing what we do on social media too - see the appropriate icons.

Some of our activities:

Youth Club at Redlees Play Centre

Youth Club takes place on Sunday afternoons. We run in a safe and accessible space with a high staff ratio, offering a choice of activities for 16 to 25 year olds with additional needs.

Our Futures at the BridgeLink Centre

A full-time programme for young people age up to 35 who have finished education and are looking for the next stage in life. We aim to develop independence.

Buddy Bicycles disability cycling at Osterley Park

Our accessible cycling scheme launches soon. Please watch this space.

Our partners and sponsors

From our simple beginnings to our present-day structure, volunteers have paid an intrinsic part at Our Barn. Our short and flexible volunteer development programme is available to all. For more information about volunteering see our Vacancies page. We also offer corporate and team-building days. See our listing on Team London (external link).

To ensure our projects are accessible to everybody, we have a policy of not charging at the point of delivery. We are proactive in seeking grants, contracts and other large-scale funding but always welcome additional donations. Please be reassured that every penny goes towards enhancing our provision rather than general running costs.

Please contact community@ourbarn.org.uk if you would like to make a donation
